Goutez is the brainchild of Duesseldorf/Cologne based brothers Cornelius and Florentin Ewest. The project, which has a social, community-oriented concept, uses natural deadstock fabrics of the highest quality, sourced from Italy, Austria and Germany. Fabrics that are rare in their individuality due to their limited availability.
Philosophy
Our basis are two shirt models and one pair of pants, each made of different fabrics in Italy and Germany. Each individual style is exclusive to fifteen and hand numbered, with no possibility of replication. A rarity element that only meticulously chosen deadstock materials can lend. These are forever pieces, reflected through their quality.
There will be no seasonal collections and asserted effort has been made to ensure the local European production, AS WELL AS THE USE OF DEADSTOCK FABRIC is low in impact. Sizing is not adhering to traditional forms.
These sizes invite you to look beyond the binary, as the wearer embodies the allure of the ambiguous.
Subsequently, as a return-on-investment for their patrons, 1/3 of profits are being gifted back to social projects within and outside of the local community, with chosen projects being announced periodically. ITALIEN, ÖSTERREICH UND DEUTSCHLAND.
The amounts donated will be transparently published each fiscal year.
